Phuket 2012 (Day 2)

Day 2 starts with the resort buffet breakfast at the cafe.

Varities of food for next 4 days.

With a full stomach, we spent the rest of the morning at the Patong beach which is right outside our hotel, as near as just crossing a road.

Braving the waves. FUN!

For this trip, I bought a DiCAPac waterproof case to bring along with my compact camera.  Didn't bring my dSLR cos worry I can't handle a heavy bag with Beatrice.

The waterproof case came in handy for rough use.  Only thing is a little condensation occured in one of the day which I didn't noticed till I saw the pictures after download.  Thank God my camera is still OK.

One of the not so nice thing about the camera is the protruding lens cover that is blackening the edge of the photos if the zoom is not extended out.  Other than that I think for the price that I paid, it's good for it's performance.

Valora is at a stage where she thinks that sand is dirty.  Bea went through this stage at around her age too.

Building their highway.

A fun & relax morning at the beach.  Went back to hotel pool for shower before getting into the pool.

We end up having lunch at 2pm!

Sunflower along the way towards the shopping mall.

My dear, can you see the signboard to Millennium Resort, right beside the shopping mall, about 15 mins walk away from where we are staying.

The one & only shopping mall, Jungceylon at Patong beach I think.

My dear, can you see the hotel behind Beatrice?

The girls have pedicure for this evening.

Late dinner at Mcdonald.

Jen bought some lighted flying sticks & the kids had fun at the open space outside our hotel.

She wanted to use the shower cap like mummy.

Mummy's invention, a stool dustbin for Beatrice to reach the sink.

Another of mummy's invention, coffee table & pillow as bedguard for Beatrice.
