Beatrice to Mommy Office

Last Saturday was my first experience bringing Beatrice with me to the office.  My sister-in-law had just given birth on Thursday evening, my mum needed to take care of  Warren.  That also explained why I had to do home chores on Thursday night so that we can have a clean place for CG on Friday.

Btw, I paid my mum to do simple home chores for me once a week, can't expect a lot from her cos she is my mum & she is old.  Ever since Beatrice goes to childcare, we created this job for her so that she can have extra income for herself on top of the monthly allowance we gave her.

Back to the topic, I went back to office to clear some work that doesn't need much thinking.  The starting part was so though as she has nothing to do, she kept asking me for this & that.  Things that I brought for her to entertain herself simply can't get her attention, she find excuses instead.

My day was brighten up when the cleaner went out to wash the corridor.  She followed & be a busybody.  From then, Beatrice followed her everywhere she goes, use her broom/mop with her imagination.  She went up & down the stairs at her own risk.  She then settled down with aunty watching her playing with the princess figurines.  She was so busy focus, it took me some time to call for her to pack & go home. :)

But at least I got my work done for the day and I am happy with it.

Present from RLe

A continue from "Present from Far Away Land". Beatrice posing with the new PJ from RLe. Thanks again.

Kki

Dawn bought these for me when I was in the hospital. According to her, the chef self-learn his baking skills. The cakes are yummy.

I wanted to get the floor-less chocolate cake but it's gone. The actual fact was there were only 3 flavours left when I went during lunch hour. Happened to be out for meeting near the area & decided to pop in to get for tea. OK, it's actually very near to my office, I'm just lazy to walk all the way there under the hot su.

The packaging is amazing, it's definitely different from the normal cake boxes that we see at other cafes.

A Meal

This is the result of Warren feeding himself during a meal. He will have rice grain everywhere from his head to face to clothing. :)

Clorets vs Rhinathiol

Gave Beatrice Rhinathiol when she started coughing with running nose 2 weeks ago. But it did not get better after finishing almost a bottle, it got worse actually. Decided to bring her to the PD on Wednesday morning when she had fever. PD asked to continue with the medicine.

Pulled her out from school for 3 days for her to rest at home, which explained why she celebrated her belated birthday in school on Monday. Decided to buy clorets orange for her to ease the itchy throat. Amazingly, after eating for a few days, she was so much better, hardly hear her cough at all.

Prayed for her and got her to repeat simple prayer.

On the other hand, I'm just curious about the tittle of this blog. Hmmmm....

Beatrice 4th Birthday (Part 4)

Beatrice had requested to go gai gai with her cousins after the celebration in school. We went to J8 for lunch, followed by craftwork for the kids and coffee for the mummies.

Raenen asked if we could go to his place but the mummies wanted the kids to nap or we'll hear angry tired kids fighting quarreling. So we set the regulations that if the kids play and not nap, we will go home immediately. The kids went in to Raenen's room to nap immediately when we get there. Happy with the regulations. They get to play for a while after they woke up, before we head home.

Beatrice 4th Birthday (Part 3)

Beatrice had her birthday celebration with her little friends in school during lunch hour on Monday.

The cousins party pack were tagged cos Beatrice had specially packed for them.

This year, it's no longer jelly for her birthday. Bought princess figurines for her recently and thought of using them for her birthday as cake toppers. Emailed the lady doing jelly, she didn't answer to my question about the toppers to jelly but instead she simply replied "you can choose from the designs available". So dropped the usual jelly and opted for a cake instead. Googled around and found a blog that does it quite nice. Decided to check out the details and place order if everything goes well, most importantly within our budget. We have another bakery on stand-by if this one fail. Took me 2 weeks to confirm the details. Quite like the design and the chocolate taste was rich.

Her cake with Disney princess figurines.

Other than Raenen celebrating in school for her this year, Gabby came to join the in the celebration too.

We bought a princess backdrop to add to her celebration, didn't turn out so well after all due to the sunlight.

The only thing I didn't like about celebrating in school is the timing. Everything seem to run too fast for me to pause and think I need to capture this & that. Like the cake, there was no time for me to take a picture of the cake before the candles are lighted. Every minute is so precious to the teachers getting the children to eat their meals, get ready for the next schedule etc.

The cousins

One of the rare occasion that she is eating the cake, as in the sponge portion. If you know her well, she normally only eat the cream & leave the sponge.
