National Library

10 August 2009

This was our first time to the national library at Victoria St. I hardly bring Bea to the library. Previously, I would drop by the branch at White Sands to get some books for Bea after site work, before heading home.

I like the branch at Bishan. Now that the circle line is operating, I should bring her there one of these day.

Mummy Went for Medical App

This is a outdated post. Found this photo in my Sony camera.

24 July 2009

Brian drove Bea to Ana's place & left for work while I went for a medical app nearby. She started looking for Brian after a while, asked Ana to open the doors to all the rooms for her to check if daddy is hiding somewhere. :)

Took this when I went to pick her up.

Coming Back Soon

Been busy with work, will be back to update blog soon.

For those waiting the photos from my camera, please give me a little more time.

Thanks!

Girl's Stuff

Went KA for morning PM, then met up with my in-laws for breakfast. Brought along her princess stuff to keep her occupied at KA. So here she is busy putting on her make-up while eating. :)

Baby Dedication 2009

Nope, not my baby. :)

This year our CG has a total of 6 babies and JX's CG has 3 babies dedicated to God.. fruitful year! Not all attended the same service.

Nintendo Wii

My brother's new toy, Bea gets to play with it in the evening while waiting for us to come & fetch her. She likes it, DH tried the toy too. He even ask me how much does it cost.

Time for fruits after gaming.

Bea's Presents

The family members headed home to rest after lunch. Bea requested to buy a princess hangbag for her for her birthday, she saw Emilia holding a Cinderella one few weeks back in playgroup. So we went to Taka to see if we could find one.

On our way home...

This is another present (doll's high chair) that she had chosen. She had requested for it a year ago but the price is just too steep for the branding. It was on sale for $15 at Taka so decided to buy for her.

Singapore’s 44th Birthday Bash

Buffet lunch/dinner at 44% less if you wear red at Orchard Hotel. So here we are on a weekday, enjoying a buffet lunch, the place is packed with red.

Didn't took much photos, busy getting the children to finish their food. I guess my mum and my aunt enjoyed the most out of it. But the durian pengat is yummy!

Did a little celebration for Bea with her cousins.

We then walked to ION Orchard. This is the chidren taking a break below LED ceiling. The whole place is so blue and orange, took me a while to edit the colour but think the pictures still doesn't turn out nice.

Lkhfkrucfsir...

In my contact list.. Lkhfkrucfsir.. this is the result of allowing Bea to play with my iPhone.

Noise Pollution at Mezzanine

This is a typical noise pollution! One colleague talking LOUDLY on the phone (the one with back facing) and another trying to listen to what the other party is saying on another phone. The fact is he is always that loud on the phone.. OK, blame is on the heavy ears of an old man. BUT when it comes to personal calls, he is so soft that we could hardly hear what he speaks!!

And the NOISE can be so loud, at the end of the day, you could literally feel the pain in your ears!! How I wish the management could do something about it. It was not that bad previously, before he starts handling more projects. :((

A Bubu Wife/Mummy

Since blogger doesn't allow me to upload pictures at the moment, must as well share events in words.

This happened just 3 hours ago while cooking dinner for the family. DH doesn't like home-cooked food, he is used to eating hot food from the stove (outside food). So I hardly cook at home. Usually, we cooked frozen food using the toaster oven. Today I decided to use the oil to fried some fries, thinking it's faster and I could catch the NDP'09 'live'.

So a bubu wife/mummy put in the fries into the pan of hot oil without using a cover, the oil splashed everywhere! End up spending more time cleaning up the kitchen. :(

Beatrice's Millstones

2 millstones during the episode of HFMD.

1) Bea no longer sucks her thumb to sleep. :)

At 2 months old, she refused the pacifier and only wanted her thumb as comfort. No matter how we tried to give her the pacifier again, she simply rejected it. So since 2 months old, she has this habit of sucking her thumb when she sleeps. We have been scratching our head how to get rid of this habit. The idea came during the HFMD.

We explained to her that she uses her hands to touch everything, anything. And before she clean her hands, she put it into her mouth. That could be a course of the ulcers in her mouth. After hearing us, she say she will stop sucking her thumb when she sleeps. :)

2) Bea no longer drinks powder milk.

Her milk powder is up to 3 years old. And we wanted to change her to fresh milk, just like us. With the painful ulcers, we encouraged her to drink chilled fresh milk. So since then, she starts drinking fersh milk. :)

Chang Korean Charcoal BBQ

Met up with friends at Chang Korean Charcoal BBQ Restaurant at Dempsey Road on Monday evening.

Bea posing for the camera.

Bea posing at the pillar again.

This is Bea enjoying her chewing sotong.. this is her first time eating it & she ate 6 pieces in total!

We are not a big fan of meat stuff so we don't really enjoyed the food. And we think the place is not cheap for $70/person.

Costume Party?

Brought Bea to play with her little friends at Dawn's place that evening.

DH stayed at home cos he had been standing outside SIS for most of the 6 hours, his legs are tired. Oh DH said usher ministry actually prepared lunch for the members, it's the first time! Wahaha!

CHC 20th Anniversary

The church had a great celebration at SIS last Sunday. Awesome services! From praying meeting to.. the pioneers sharing their testimonies to.. the children performing their song item.. testimonies.. to the celebration.. WAH WAH WAH!!!

This is really where I have been rooted, where I belong.

We decided not to bring Bea as it was a long service. We arrived at 7.30am, the linkbridge was packed all the way to the taxi stand. Sat together with the CG, had a little picnic during the break, services end at almost 3pm.

Stress Mummy

We went to Ana's place on Sat's evening to spend time with her. She is settling down with her girl who has not seen her for the past 3 months, cry when she see strangers like us. Think grandma has been keeping her at home for too long. :)

Beatrice had great time playing with Jaydan.
