Tomorrow is Dōng Zhì (冬至) where families get together to eat tāng yuán (湯圓), a sweet soup made of glutinous rice balls. In chinese saying, it is a day when everyone becomes one year older.
This is my mummy's traditional tang yuan which we packed home to enjoy.
