Crowded Sunday

The Living Courthouse

DH needed to clear some work in the morning. So I decided to bring Trice to Supreme Court Open House. The crowd was horrifying.. the queue was half the perimeter round the building with u-turns, it took us 30 min to get through the security check into the building.


Wanted to bring Trice to watch the enactment: "Who pushed Humpty?" But the queue was super long & each hearing takes 30min. Gave up! Told Trice, lets walk around the building to answer the quiz & get a souvenir instead.


IT Show 2009

DH picked us up from the Supreme Court & we head down to Suntec for the IT Show. He needed to get a new printer for his office use. HP booth is just right at the entrance but it took us a while just to step in. Trice busy entertaining herself while waiting for DH to settle the payment & freebies.




Later in the evening, we met up with DH's family for dinner. It's been quite a while since we last joined them for dinner. Nowadays, usually we bring Trice to my in-law place for an hour or so instead.

'Training' for Kidsrun

We had fellowship at our place after Saturday service. The children were playing on their own while the parents were busy with our dinner.

The kids training for the coming kidsrun?? Some of us, the parents had registered our children for the coming kidsrun.

Children First!

Brought Trice to watch "In The Garden" organised by Act3 International & Prudential. Hesitated for a while before purchasing the tickets, wonder if she will enjoy it. Got a very good deal from sistic, the tickets was at half price.

Chosen this performance cos it's include theatre, video, shadows, and drawings. Tots would understand it easily. During the performance, Trice could identify the pictures, laugh, get excited with her many where & why.

On our way to the Art House, she was busy playing with her camera. Will show some of her shots at a later post.

The paper butterfly was given out to all the children that attended. She enjoyed the performance. She even commented.. mummy come again ok?

The children were also given a pack of milk after the show to fill up their stomach.

Beatrice's Camera

OK, many of you would probably say why buy such an expensive gadget for Beatrice. I thought for a month before deciding on this.

She has always request to play with my camera. It's my one & only camera, what if she spoilt it? If she spoilt it & DH pay me with a dSLR, haha.. I will be glad that she spoilt it. But I know it's impossible, DH will only say why let her play with it.

We gave her a VERY old camera, haha.. 1st generation digital camera. She say mummy it's not working. ;p

I was comparing between the children version of digital camera & the adult entry level cameras. The children version is heavy, bulky, 0.3 MP, 1.7" screen, $100+, with a little shock & waterproof. But the thing is I'm not going to carry this bulky thing for her when we go out.

So in the end, I decided to pay a little more for an adult entry level camera, pink in colour for a girl. Her name for a little personalisation.

Missing EzLink Card

Found my missing EzLink card in Trice's princess wallet. It has been missing for more than a month. Didn't expect Trice to take it. But somehow I remembered that I had placed it in my bag compartment.

Doll House

Took these out for the children to play last Saturday. This is actually Trice's 1 year old present from a friend.

Constance & Lauren's Birthday

The twin sisters are now 2 years old. Brought Beatrice to their place for a simple celebration.

Oh Gosh.. Not Again!

Yesterday morning, we found this at 5.30am. She was still wearing her PJ when I checked on her at 5am.

This is the second time she did this. And I wonder does it happen to all children? Is it a stage that they goes through?

Neighbour's Chair

Almost every other day while waiting for us to open the door to our house, she will sit on the neighbour's chair, not wanting to go home.

So sometimes, we simply close our door till she called for us. ;p

Trice said this is the way they sit in school with their legs cross. :)

Birthday??

As promised, we will be back to visit Jaydon again over the weekend. The last round, I brought along a hippo bag for him. This round, we decided to buy a slice of cake for him to cheer him up. Dropped by Plaza Sing and managed to get a mcqueen mini cake for Jaydon & a princess mini cake for Beatrice.

So this is the 2 of them singing birthday songs to themselves and enjoying the cake. :)

Singapore Flyer

STB is having their second round of attractions promotion this March. Nope, no free tickets this time. They are giving away either 2 children or 2 senior citizen tickets free with purchase of 2 adult tickets. So at least don't have to camp there to get the tickets cos it is not totally FOC.

I think DH will scold me crazy if I did that in Feb. Anyway, that's what we did as a big family (camping overnight) for NDP tickets before the introduction of balloting system for NDP tickets.

Since the senior citizens tickets are free, decided to bring my parents there.


Beatrice is afraid of heights. She cling to us like a koala bear.




If you noticed, Warren has some crying shots.. ask my Dear. Ok, it's not his fault. Just that Warren will cry if he see anyone wearing spectacles!

Does He Knows?

Got DH to help put on clothes for Trice after shower. Before stepping out of the house, thought I should check on Trice to make sure everything is put on.. and this is what I saw!! whahahah

Girls Play

I suggested for the children to play at my place after service. I supposed they had a good time together. Err.. JX & Dawn missing from the photos.. they went dating, spending their 15hr/wk together. ;p

In The Car

Yesterday Evening...

Mummy: Beatrice, who fetch you from school yesterday?
Trice: 婆婆
Mummy: Ah gong drove?
Trice: No, 舅母 drive
Mummy: But 舅母 dunno know how to drive?
Trice: Yes! 舅母 drive


This morning, I found her sleeping without her pants, only diapers on. So I ask her in the car.

Mummy: What happen last night that you need to take out your pants?
Trice: 婆婆 beat me
Mummy: You mean in the dream?
Trice: Yes

This morning I ask my mum, she say she didn't beat her. She was good yesterday.


Last weekend in my dad's car, Warren was sleeping. After a while, he woke up. Trice turned to my SIL & said, " 舅母，我没有大声"

Many times, my mum has to remind her not to make too much noise when Warren is asleep. :)


This is a common conversation. I do not understand why the 2 of them always have to argue? This is all from Trice side..

Daddy so naughty. 警擦catch daddy can?
Throw away the dustbin (haha.. she meant throw daddy into the dustbin)


This happened 2 months ago on a weekday. My parents place is undergoing IUP, the lobby was dark. My dad was not working so they decided to go out jalan jalan. Trice stepped of the house before the rest. The moment she step out she saw a worker peeping from the metal hoarding. She burst into tears with fear. Until today, she still have phobia when she sees a dark person.

Beatrice 5th Week in School

I do not understand why?

Yesterday and this morning, Trice cried at the door. Arrgh! Does she has too much fun till she forgotten about school?

Raining.. No Swimming

Albert & Ginder invited the CG to their place for a swim. However it rained in the late afternoon so the children can only stay around the house. Their neighbour came up to complain about the noise level from the children. So in order to keep the volume down, Eric got the children to sit down and tell them a story.

Visiting Jayden

Jayden met with an accident at home during the week. I get to know about the news on Saturday and we went to visit him at home on Sunday. Since Jayden is resting on the bed, Trice gets to play with all of Jayden's toys for the day and she was happy.


Before we left, Jayden took the courage to stand up on his bed after he had his dose of medication to ease the pain. So we stay a little longer and Trice had a little argument with Jayden. Sorry I can't take a video of them, presenting the voice recording.

When we were making our way out, Jayden took another courage to walk to the door. Very good Jayden, you are a brave boy! Get well soon.

For all parents out there whether you are living in a high-end condo or a HDB flat, be careful with the toilet bowl cover that may drop down to hurt your child when he/she try to reach for the flush or something.

I went back home tested the HDB plastic cover on my fingers, it can hurt too.

T3 After Service

Natas travel fair was going on at Expo over the weekend. Cars were everywhere, trying to get into the parking lots, parking illegally at the nearby. Anyway, we thought we wanted to avoid the jam & went by ECP and we ended up at the airport for dinner.

She saw people drinking water from the water cooler and find it interesting and wanted to taste the drink too. I later realise that it was a sensor water cooler which spring out water when you stand right in front of it. So this is my daughter enjoying herself with her creative idea.




The airport was having GST absorbed promotion and they were giving away $5 off for every $30 spent. I was happy shopping for toiletries @Watson while Trice was happy at the playground.

Scissors Play

This is the first time we allow Trice to use the actual scissors to cut stuff.


Went to Lego shop to check out their 2009 collection. They have 2 new crane models that catches DH attention and I decided to buy it for DH. Now he is asking me almost everyday when would I have time to fix up for him.


We just wanted a drink but Trice insist that she is hungry and wanted to eat fries.

More Going for Ikea Breakfast

We had another fellowship breakfast at Ikea again. This time round, Stephanie brought along her sister & nephews and Albert & Ginder came to join us too.

We were very early and was not allow to go up to the cafe, so hang around at the taxi stand.


The children were busy playing with their handheld games while waiting for the food.

Sleepy Morning

Sunday morning, Beatrice woke up wanting to check out what is daddy doing & she walked right into the kitchen door frame! Ooouch!! A vertical line with bruise around it.

Dinner Together?

No, we didn't meet up with the Chai family for dinner after service.. just walked to the car park together. We went back to my in-laws place to try to fix up DH's printer (we had this printer since before wedding I think). Anyway I think it's time to say bye bye to it.

Made another trip again on Sunday with our home printer.

Seminar

Attended a seminar this morning. After the tea break, this man was snoring even louder than the early morning. Its not once, the snore continues...

Activites Done

Trice brought these back last Friday.. her 2 weeks of activities done in school.

Praise God! Since yesterday, she stop crying at the door! First she will ask me to stand beside her while the teacher do the routine checks. Then she will ask for Raenen. "Kor kor Raenen will coming later, can you wait for him?" She will say bye to us and walk into the class with her teacher.


Had a little chat with her in the car on Sunday.

Mummy: Beatrice, you have friends in school? Do you think you can tell mummy their names? (In my mind I thought she will say Raenen)

Beatrice: Chloe my friend.

Mummy: Oh, your friend's name is Chloe. Mummy has not met her before. Tell me about her.

Beatrice: (She talked a lot but I don't understand)

This morning I heard the teacher told her Chloe is here. So there is a Chloe in her class. :)

"New" iPhone

Changed my iPhone casing & screen protector. Nice mirror effect! Handy for a lady like me who is lazy to carry to many stuff. :)

Renewing Our Vows

Every year during Valentine week, pastor will make a point to get the couples to renew our marriage vows. This year, pastor gave every couple a pair of rings, its nice. Something unexpected but really appreciate pastor little thoughts.

This year pastor share a series on relationship for married couples. It is great and I think it is very true too. :)
